Systemic Family Therapy
Understanding difference, strengthening relationships, and fostering connection
Background & Training
I am a UKCP and AFT-registered Systemic Family Psychotherapist with over 10 years experience in mental health, supporting families struggling with communication challenges, adjusting to neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD) and rediscovering a sense of identity and family values. Trained at the Tavistock Institute, I have worked extensively with neurodivergent young people, couples and their families, helping them to navigate the unique challenges that can arise; this includes communication differences, sensory sensitivities, emotional regulation, and family dynamics. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, focusing on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where families feel understood and supported. I often draw on narrative therapy and family script frameworks to help families make sense of their experiences, reframe challenges, and develop strategies to foster connection and well-being.

First Session
In our first session, we aim to explore the perspectives of each family member in terms of what has brought you to family therapy and what needs to be different moving forward.
Session Reviews
Over time, we aim to start building a safe and curious therapeutic foundation, and will review our therapeutic goals and progress every 6 sessions to ensure the work is meaningful and impactful.
